In the US broadband is moving from the early adopter stage to mass market medium. The companies and users that struggled through the early stages found solutions that will make it a lot easier for folks today.
Not long ago broadband was so costly and complicated that only organizations with deep pockets and network savvy technicians could implement it. Most people got their first taste of the speed and utility of broadband while working at government agencies or corporations or studying at colleges and universities. Back then no one dreamed that one day folks would be able to order a cup of coffee and surf the Net at blazing speed.
